San Angelo Aggie Moms

Welcome from the President

Howdy!

Welcome to the 2007-2008 year of the San Angelo A&M University Mothers’ Club, our 81st year of support to Aggie Moms, our Aggie students, and the university they have chosen to attend, Texas A&M!!

We have many events planned for this year and hope that each one of our Aggie Moms will be able to attend just as many of them as possible.  We will fill Goody Bags for our students in November and March, have our 2nd Annual China Luncheon October 20, go to Aggie Mom Boutique during Parents Weekend at Texas A&M in April and most notably debut our new cookbook, Aggie Tradition, this year.  Each year with Aggie Moms is new and different – and always fun and exciting in some way!

The San Angelo A&M Mothers’ Club chapter is the 3rd oldest club in the Federation of Texas A&M University Mothers’ Clubs and was one of eight Aggie Mom clubs that came together in 1928 to form the Federation.  I find it so exciting to know how unique Aggie Moms are in the world of higher education!  Texas A&M may not have the longevity of a Harvard or Yale – but it has something unique and much more valuable – AGGIE MOMS!!

I welcome each and every one of you as a special and unique individual to our club and thank you for the privilege as serving as your president this year.  Join us in keeping the spirit that is Aggie Moms alive and growing!

In Aggie Mom Love,

Chris Hunter, President
2007-2008

A Note from the Webmaster

Howdy Aggie Moms! When my mother came to me and asked me to develop the site for the San Angelo Aggie Moms, I jumped at the chance. I have always enjoyed the support that I have gotten not only from MY Aggie Mom, but from all of you as well. I remember all of the goodie bags that I've received as a student and I wanted to give a little of that support back to you. Thank you for the chance to help you!

If you have any ideas for the website or would like to contribute to it, please feel free to email me at webmaster@sanangeloaggiemoms.org If you have any pictures in digital format (or any other formats for that matter) of your aggies or of the campus, please send them to me at the same email address or ask my mom (Chris Hunter) to send them to me! Please keep coming back because we will be adding some exciting new sections in the near future!

Thank You!
Christopher Hunter
