WELCOME FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Howdy,
Welcome to a new year of the San Angelo A&M University Mother’s
Club newsletter. If you are the Mother, Step Mother, or Guardian
of an Aggie, you are considered an Aggie Mom, thus are invited
to become a member of our organization. We would love to have you
join us at our first meeting of the new school year on Thursday,
August 19 at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Lutheran
Church on Loop 306. There you will find snacks, laughter, Aggie
Jokes, and simple Aggie camaraderie of mothers of Former and Current
students. We will discuss activities to support our Aggies in the
calendar year 2004-2005. You will get a chance to meet your newly
elected officers and offer suggestions that will help mold the
exciting year ahead of us. If you decide to join (or re join),
registration forms will be available and dues are $20.00 a year,
part of which goes into our scholarship fund.
Please take a moment and add the important dates enclosed to your
personal calendar. The year will be much sweeter if you are at
our meetings!

PRAYER REQUESTS
Aggie Mom, Ginger Bruton, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Please remember her in your prayers. She did ask that we not
send flowers, gifts or food.
Aggie Mom, Paula Sweeten, also requested prayers for her daughter
Sunny Jon.

Erica Ward ’04 (Aggie Mom, Pam Ward) graduated in May with
a BS in Psychology. She was married on July 31 to Mark Hill ‘04
who will graduate in August.
