FYI Segment

This month, instead of asking one mom to present our FYI segment, we are asking all moms to participate. The topic will be “Fun things to do and see in College Station”. If you’ve found an out of the way restaurant, please tell us about it. If you’ve been to MSC OPA’s program and still have your Playbill, please bring it and tell us about it. If you’ve found a wonderful dress shop, be prepared to model your finds (or at least, show us). If you’ve seen an outstanding exhibit on campus, please tell us about it. One of my favorite places in College Station is a wonderful produce market. Come to the December meeting to find out where to buy fresh shelled black eyed peas and gorgeous house plants.

Donations

Our club has budgeted $1000 to be donated to Aggie student organizations. If your Aggie’s organization or club is in need of funds, please have them contact us in writing. They can mail their request to P. O. Box 62314 (76906) or email to bkhyoung@wcc.net.

Raffle

Betty Sue Garmon has created a wonderful framed Cross stitch wall hanging depicting Aggie Life. Raffle chances will be $2.00 each. The drawing will be in March. Just think how your odds of winning would increase if you bought just a few tickets at each meeting. Betty Sue’s work will be on display at every meeting.
