LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Howdy [firstname]!
Well, Aggie Moms, this month has bad news and good news! (No,
I am not talking about football.) I received a fax from Washington,
DC., in regards to our trip. The White House could not see our
group for a tour on Dec. 13th. I will bring the letter to the meeting,
and we can go from there, but all days in December are booked.
They were very cordial and had suggestions. The good news is we
can go in the spring to see the White House and the Cherry Blossoms
and we can rebook for next December!!! I say yes we should go for
it!
The tutorial scholarship announcement came out in the newspaper,
and our Aggies received another announcement with their FreeBirds
gift certificates. We have had about 20 requests thus far for the
scholarships. They will start going out this next week. So, Moms’,
remind your students to apply, and remember only students can apply.
They must e-mail Kay Young with their request, to bkhyoung@wcc.net.
They must include their parents names and address, as well as theirs.
They also, need to include their student ID when requesting. In
the subject line they need to put scholarship application.
We are very pleased to have such a good response on the first
day. Please know that if we all get behind our fund raiser, Ginger
Bruton, we will be able to have more scholarships available to
our students. With Christmas upon us, let’s all try to sell
as many Cook Books as possible. Also, it is not too soon to start
saving for our Garage Sale the first week end in March. The monies
we make go to your children and future Aggies as well. So, let’s
all do our part.
Ginger, still has plenty of 12th Man Towels for sale, and I do
think we should rally around our football team as much as possible,
so buy your towels. They will be at the next meeting.

God Bless You, God Bless our Aggies and God Bless America
