AGGIE MOM BRAGS
Shana
Michelle Gould '04, was married on July 5, 2003 to Patrick Baldwin
who was a May 2003 graduate from A&M. Shana is an elementary
major.
Nathan
Stewart '99, (son of Aggie Mom Pamela Stewart) is working
in Dallas as an account executive for The Richards Group, a major
advertising agency. However, as a freshman A&M student in 1995,
his roommate, James Robb, taught Nathan how to play the guitar
and Nathan fell "in love" with it. That love affair has
endured, and last weekend he opened at Deep Ellem (sp?) at Adair's,
a popular local "College Station" type bar that boasts
lots of live music. He now sings, plays, and writes all of his
own music. Thanks to all of the Dallas Aggies (many of them former
San Angeloans) who showed up to cheer him on! He appreciated your
being there. (Needless to say, his Mom and Dad were there in the
front row! It was great!)
Georgia
Grace Williams, Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '25 was
born August 27, 2003, at 8:29 p.m. She weighed 8 lb. 14oz. and
was 21
in. Her delighted Aggie parents are Jeremiah Williams '98 and
Leslie Williams '97 of Austin. Aggie aunts are Jessica '01 (Aunt
KK) of
Dallas and Anna '06 (Aunt Banana) of College Station. Very proud
grandparents are Roger and Judie Williams of Sterling City and
Charles and Nan Ardoin of Austin. Great-grandparents are Georgia
Williams of San Angelo and Dick and Sandy Harber of Graham.
Jessica Escue (daughter of Aggie Mom Janice Escue) made the Deans
List for the Spring Semester in the Mays College of Business. She
will get her Aggie ring on Sept. 4. WHOOP!!!!
Erica Ward ‘04 (daughter of Aggie Mom Pam Ward) received
her Senior Ring on September 9, 2003!
Aggie Mom Elaine Williams reports that son, Tom Ben Williams '04,
is CO of Parson's Mounted Cavalry. In addition, the cannon is firing
again and the horses are parading again.
Taylor Appleberry, '03 (son of Aggie Mom Tanya Tullos) is putting
his genetics degree to work in Quality Control at Spectral Genomics
near the Medical Center in Houston. He loves the work environment
and couldn't ask for better coworkers, he says. Now if the Astros
will seriously get in a pennant race...
Terry O'Connell from Madison, Conn., wanted to share the following
story that he found amusing. Terry is an adopted member of our
club. “My son David is entering his second year at TAMU.
We live in Connecticut. David has been working as a grocery checker
for a local supermarket chain. This job had afforded him the
opportunity to meet many people. One day a man came through his
line and was wearing a Texas A & M baseball cap. David told
him he goes to college there. The man replied (horrors) a Longhorn.
David restrained himself and replied, ‘Those are fighting
words at A&M. We're Aggies.’ I just thought you would
enjoy that little story.”
Aggie Mom Kathy Vinson reports that Matt Vinson '03 (returning
for his 5th year "victory lap" to graduate in May 04)

Gamma Rho National Board of Directors. AGR is both a social and
