Howdy Aggie Moms!
Hard to believe that it is already the beginning of another year of Aggie Mom Club activities!
We had a really great “Howdy” meeting in September and sure did miss all of you who were unable to attend.
You should have your Aggie settled in for the first semester of the 2007-2008 school year – maybe you’re looking forward to seeing your Aggie graduate this year?
Whoop!
For those of you who have one – or two – or three – or more years for this event to occur, we are here to offer you encouragement that this event
will happen!
For those of you who have witnessed this momentous occasion, we are here to provide support, information and just a whole lot of Aggie Mom love to all the mothers of these current students – we’ve been there, done that, and so proud of our Aggies who accomplished this feat!
Hopefully by now you have completed (or
nearly completed!) your 2007-2008 Membership Form.
If you have not, you can log onto our website and under “Membership” is a link to the Membership Form, which you can download, complete, print and return to the Membership Vice-President Vickie Foreman along with your check.
We need these by the September 20th meeting so that we can be sure to include your information in our annual Yearbook.
This year is going to be another wonderful year – our 81st! – for the
San Angelo Aggie Moms.
Details of the upcoming events are listed below and we hope that you are excited at how many opportunities there will be to help our Aggies and also for us, as mothers, to form bonds and friendships that will last for many years to come.
Please be sure to look at the listing below of our scheduled meetings and events so that you can put them on your calendar for the year and not miss any of them!
Our next meeting is September 20 at Trinity Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall.
We will have refreshments ready at 6:30 and start the meeting promptly at 6:45 so that we can conduct our business, have our program, and have time to meet and talk after the conclusion of all this at 7:30.
We have many great door prizes—and you have to be there to win them!
If you need a ride or an answer to any question, call any of the officers and we can help you get to the meeting.
We are hopeful that the new cookbook, Aggie Tradition, will have arrived by then.
You’ll have to be there to find out!!
For those who ordered Maroon Out t-shirts, you can pick them up at this meeting.
We look forward to seeing all of you at the September meeting!
In Aggie Mom Love,
Chris Hunter
President
